Your field data stays under your control.

On-device report data

Report text, client details, addresses, photos, annotations, signatures, company branding, and available photo capture timestamps and coordinates are stored locally in AuditSlate’s private app container. AuditSlate does not transmit this content to the developer.

Camera, Photos, and location

AuditSlate accesses the camera only when you choose to capture evidence and receives only the photos you select in Apple’s system picker. When present, a selected photo’s embedded capture time and GPS are retained, labeled as embedded photo metadata, and shown in the report.

Location permission is requested only when you choose Attach current location for a photo. That separately labeled coordinate stores the time it was obtained, and stale or invalid device-location samples are rejected. Removing displayed coordinates does not modify metadata inside an unchanged original included in a ZIP export.

Sharing

You control off-device disclosure by choosing a destination in Apple’s share sheet. Files already saved or sent are controlled by that destination and are not deleted when their AuditSlate source is removed.

Developer collection and tracking

AuditSlate contains no advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, developer account system, or developer-operated server. The developer does not collect data from the app. This website also contains no account, support form, advertising, analytics script, or tracking cookie.

Support communications

If you contact support by email, the developer receives the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and maintain a reasonable support record. It is not sold or used for advertising or tracking. You may request deletion of a support conversation by emailing the address below, subject to records that must be retained for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. AuditSlate receives only the verified entitlement needed to unlock Pro.

Deletion

After confirmation, deleting a photo, issue, or report permanently removes its referenced local AuditSlate content. Previously exported or shared copies are not recalled.

Children’s privacy

AuditSlate is a professional field-reporting tool and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when AuditSlate’s features or data practices change. The current version and its last-updated date will remain posted at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in the app or App Store information when appropriate.
